AUEB

AUEB is a dynamic institution of higher education in Greece founded in 1920 and participates in the project by means of the Network Economics and Services Group – NES Group (http://nes.cs.aueb.gr/). NES Group is headed by Prof. Courcoubetis, who is co-author with Richard Weber of “Pricing Communication Networks: Economics, Technology and Modeling” (Wiley, 2003). The group is specialized economic and business modelling, pricing and accounting for networks and services, and in the use of economic mechanisms (such as prices, contracts and auctions) and other incentives-based mechanisms (such as performance differentiation and reputation) for the allocation management and trading, of network resources and digital goods (content, cloud computing services, sensor data, energy negawatts), the management of Internet traffic etc, as well as in the technologies enabling such mechanisms.
